Cameron & Brynn White Sands Engagement Session
White Sands National Park attracts couples from all over the United States. Something about the simplicity of the white dunes mixed with the overwhelming cotton candy sunsets that often grace the sky above I suppose is the reason behind its awh factor. A majority of the couples who contact me are from out of state oddly enough. So I have lots of experience and recommendations when it comes to helping my couples plan the perfect getaway.
When planning an out of state engagement session, it’s important to contact your ideal photographer as soon as possible. We often book out months in advance, and many of us don’t actually live next door to White Sands. I for example live 3 hours away. That doesn’t stop me from driving my happy little butt down south every other weekend. White Sands Sessions and Elopements (some would say) are my specialty. When most would get turned around and not know one dune from the other, I however have favorite parts of the park and favorite sand dunes as well. I know how to best optimize the sun in the harsh mid day lighting and how to best capture the sunsets even once the sun has set behind the west mountains.
